Wacker Biotech Consulting AG was founded by Dr. Michael Wacker.
Michael has more than 15 years of experience in the field of life sciences. During his PhD studies at the Swiss Institute of Technology Zurich (ETHZ), he invented a break-through technology to be used for the development of vaccines to prevent deadly infections. He was awarded the Silver Medal of ETH for his PhD thesis. He co-founded GlycoVaxyn and developed the company as board member and Chief Scientific Officer. GlycoVaxyn was acquired by GSK for USD 212m in February 2015. He is a board member of Limmatech Biologics , the successor company of GlycoVaxyn.
